Large colour limited edition print taken from the original painting by artist David Cottam 1993 of the Manchester United team line up prior to the match against Red Star Belgrade on the 5th February 1958. The print has been signed to lower border in pencil by five players who survived the Munich aircrash, Harry Gregg, Ray Wood, Jackie Blanchflower, Albert Scanlon and Kenny Morgans. World Cup 1958. 'Just Fontaine. World Record 13 goals 1958-1998' commemorative wrist watch presented to each of the twenty two members of the 1958 World Cup Squad by Fontaine to commemorate his world record of scoring 13 goals in a World Cup competition. These were presented after the Final of the 1998 World Cup at the Dinner Banquet. Where upon receipt of their watches, each member exchanged with a team mate. Wisnieski swapped with his room mate Jean Vincent. Wisnieski's World Cup shirt number was '22' and Vincent's '21'. This is number '21', engraved to verso. Sold with signed letter from Wisnieski (written in French, regarding the watch, a photograph of players at a World Cup 1958 Reunion, a postcard signed to reverse by former 1958 players including Fontaine, Wisnieski and Hidalgo and by guests Eusebio and R.Charlton and a postcard size signed photograph of Wisnieski. Neat handwritten annotations to the team page indicating the final score (Pegasus won 1-0) and a 'record' attendance of 12,000. Included are three press cuttings, two with images of the match in progress at the famous cricket ground. VG
