Photographs include the captains, Wyatt and Woodfull, tossing for innings, Hendren taking a smart catch at slip to dismiss Ponsford, Wyatt being bowled by O'Reilly, Leyland and Ames running a single, and the Australians walking on to the field. Various sizes, 10"x8" and smaller. Scorch marks and pin holes to some photographs, generally good condition

J.W.H.T. Douglas XI in Scotland 1922. Two large original sepia photographs of action during the match West of Scotland v J.W.H.T. Douglas XII, Hamilton Crescent, Glasgow, 8th-10th July 1922. One photograph embossed 'Copyright. The Bulletin. Both photographs measure approx. 10"x6.5" and are laid to large album pages. Douglas' XII won by 290 runs and featured prominent players including Hobbs, Russell, Hearne, Gunn, Sandham, Hendren, Jupp, Hitch, Strudwick etc. Ageing and wear, otherwise in generally good condition
